Other highlights
There were so many other great sites in both Uganda and Kenya. Here are the best of the birds,hippos, giraffes, etc.

 

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Game drives in the park featured great birds, elephant and lion cubs. The boat ride up and down the Kazinga channel was incredible for hippos and shore birds.

Maramagambo Forest
Also in the Queen Elizabeth Park, there was an easy to reach cave with over a million fruit bats.

Masai Mara
A wealth of wildlife including lots of elephants, giraffe, birds of prey, newborn impala, vultures, and a heron eating a venomous boomslang snake.
