Ngamba Island
This is an island sanctuary for orphaned chimps, rescued from poachers. If you plan a trip to Uganda, be sure to spend a full day on the island. The chimps are fed several times a day and the viewing platform allows for exceptional photography.

 

Kibale National Park
Kibale is a large park that protects an important rainforest habitat of many primates, including the Chimpanzee. We truly enjoyed seeing the chimps in their natural setting even if the photography was challenging.
